AlphaYou’s research data comes from public records: SEC filings (company 8-Ks, insider Form 4 trades, fund 13F holdings) and public Hyperliquid positions. Every answer carries its source link and its date, so you can check it yourself. You can read it 4 ways. Pick the one that fits what you are building.

Pick your way in

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way an AI assistant calls outside tools. If you only want answers in a chat, the no-key research MCP is the fastest start.

Where to start

  • You want answers in a chat assistant. Add the no-key research MCP. In Claude Code:
  • You are building something with code. Follow the Quickstart. You get a free key and make your first call in about 5 minutes.

Free and Pro in one look

Pro is billed separately from the consumer AlphaYou plan. Full details are on Plans and limits.

What the data is, and is not

  • It is read-only research: who filed what, when, with a link to the original record.
  • It is delayed by law. An insider trade can show up 2 business days after it happens. A fund’s holdings can show up 45 days after the quarter ends. See Conventions.
  • It is not advice. AlphaYou gives the same facts to everyone and never says what to buy or sell.
  • It cannot trade. No wallet connection, signing, funding, copy trading or alert creation is available through the API or MCP.
  • The keyed API does not return the financial disclosure reports of members of Congress or of executive branch officials.

Before you build a product on it

The API terms set what you may do with the data. The short version is on What you may do with the data. The contract itself is the API terms.
